It's whiny and annoying. It's this way because the same thing keeps happening over and over again. A brute-force (by repetition) attack on our Democracy.

Now I usually let these things go, activism isn't my thing much but: In abstract. Knowing that you are watched or under scrutiny makes people change their behavior. THAT is a good way to sidestep the right of free speech for example. Make people aware of not being able to say just anything and people might stop saying the things you don't want to hear (or stop saying the things you need to hear).

It's definitely not a Save-the-Children issue as well. It might be presented as such but we are too late with on-device scanning in your messenger app. The material is already there, the picture already taken. The damage already done? Yes maybe? Damage prevented? Yes also maybe? No second exposure 🎞️. No joke either.

I take this very seriously. As an analyst even.
